News from The Wood...

Just a quick update. The patio is wide open and there have been some great patio days so far! Hope to see you out there soon. We are launching a fun and tasty new summer wine list...you will be seeing it soon. As well some great new craft beers on tap Stanley Park Noble Pilsner is being very well received. Just ask Howie how good it is! As well our Yukon Red is a great tasting beer all the way from the Whitehorse...tasty stuff! We will have a couple of new beers coming out in the coming weeks. We have been busy doing some updates to our website for The Wood. Some snazy new features and some social integration to make it more fun! As well we are doing some in house surveys and conests to win Calgary Flames hockey tickets fro an upcoming NHL game. The Wood will be hosting a chidrens pumpkin carving contest this Sunday, October 30th, in anticapation of Halloween The contest will run from 1 until 4 and we will have some great prizes for the winners.
